FACULTY BIO :
Dr Apoorva Suran
Is an eminent endocrinologist with an expertise in managing various hormonal disorders. She has done her MBBS from MGM Medical College Indore, MD Medicine from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal and DNB Endocrinology from Hinduja Hospital Mumbai She deals with all kinds of hormonal issues in adults as well as in children. This includes Diabetes, thyroid diseases, obesity, high cholesterol, PCOD, menstrual irregularities, pituitary, parathyroid and adrenal disorders. She also specialises in managing cases of short stature in children.
Rare diseases like ambiguous genitalia in newborns and various other disorders of sexual differentiation are also dealt by her. Females and males suffering from infertility, gynaecomastia in males, hypogonadism etc are some other diseases which are taken care of. Old people suffering from low bone mass, known as osteoporosis, young people with recurrent fractures and other disorders of calcium and magnesium homeostasis also come under her area of expertise.
